The Chautauqua Institute is a unique place to visit during the summer as it bustles with activities. Those activities include a mix of performing arts, lectures, interfaith worship and recreational activities.
They have an interesting Religion and Faith program. The invite chaplains, host interfaith lectures, play sacred music, and more. If you love the literary arts there is something for you as well. The institute encourages lifelong learning and for nearly 150 years the reading and discussions of literature have lived at the institute. They discuss readers and writers of all ages and community, conversation and learning. They host some events for people that aspire to write.
If you love learning more about the visual arts or people's heritage then there are also lectures that you will love.
There are many live events that are happening almost everyday that will keep you, your kids, your spouse, and whoever you want entertained. It is a fun atmosphere, and we love seeing people having a blast!
